Housemen
A Houseman is an individual who assists an Estate’s housekeeping team or serves as the executive Housekeeper.
A Houseman is generally responsible for the heavy housework such as cleaning hardwood and marble floors, vacuuming, polishing fine materials, and conducting home repairs. Responsibilities often also include: hands-on maintenance, gardening, serving meals and driving. The ideal individual is organized, self-motivated, and has knowledge of antiques and fine art.
A Houseman is often expected to care for fine garments and may be asked to cook for the family.
