Any Location, Live-in, Live-out
An exceptional Nanny/Governess with years of experience taking care of children aging from infancy to teens is currently looking for her next position. She is passionate about promoting child health and development. In addition to learning through her work as a nanny, she has served as a teacher, teaching assistant, and tutor for all subjects in grades PreK-12. She has taken a broad spectrum of courses at Wheaton College, Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, and Harvard University, in addition to courses on human development, learning, and best educational practices, courses that would enable her to teach children any subject using active and innovative methods. During her own childhood, she was given the opportunity for enrichment not only in traditional academic subjects, but also in art, drama, writing, several musical instruments, numerous sports, and foreign languages. She tries to give the children she cares for the same opportunities. She is an exceptionally kind, good-humored, and creative caregiver. She is organized, attentive to children’s every need, and happy to adapt to the way that parents like things done. She is committed to lifelong learning, flexible, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep children healthy and happy. In addition, she volunteered in a hospital’s occupational therapy department, completed a nursing assistant program, and took courses to become certified in CPR/AED for the professional rescuer and First Aid. She enjoys cooking healthy meals, neat, a good safe driver, an excellent swimmer and a pet lover. She is available for a live-in or live-out position and offers full flexibility in schedule.
